Why see Cirque Dreams Holidaze?

THE CIRCUS DOES CHRISTMAS!

A specially themed holiday show, Holidaze sees various Christmas ornaments magicked to life as the seasoned troupe of 30 performers from over 12 different countries combine their talents into 20 acts, transforming themselves into costumed characters and perform astonishing feats that celebrate the holiday season with spectacle, imagination and whimsical joy.

Cirque Dreams: Holidaze has been entertaining its fans, young and old for the better part of a decade, and now you can experience the magic for yourself!

WHAT TO EXPECT FROM THIS CIRQUE SHOW?

Like any true circus, this show has no rigid narrative structure to follow, but the action takes part as a series of spectacular vignettes. Marvel at gingerbread men flipping through the air, toy soldiers skillfully marching on thin wires, snowmen daringly balancing, icemen sculpting powerfully, penguins spinning, puppets caroling and reindeer soaring high above a landscape of holiday wonderment.

An original musical score is combined with some of America's holiday favorites, and forms part of the spectacle along with dazzling costumes and a sparkling stage set. Cirque Dreams Holidaze is quite honestly the perfect gift for the entire family to get together and enjoy!

Great Holiday Show

What a great show to see to get you in the holiday season or extend the Christmas spirit. We go every year and this year by far was nothing short of amazing. The performers are talented and gifted as an average human could never do the acrobatics these super humans perform. Definite talent and dangerous acts performed and it is mesmerizing show every time. Would recommend to families and all to see!!! ... Read more

Entertaining but missing something

My wife and I attended the Saturday evening showing of Cirque Dreams Holidaze. We didn't know what to expect so we didn't go into the show with any preconceived expectations. Overall I would say the show was entertaining and satisfying but it lack that WOW factor. The performers worked hard and for the most part delivered. I happened to overhear a gentleman in front of me call them the "JV squad". In some ways it was a fair description. They worked hard to put on a show but they weren't quite the A-team. With that being said you can still enjoy the show. ... Read more

Cirque Holidaze

3rd year we saw it and not as daring acrobatics as 2017 show. I disagree music needs to be loud it’s most fun part of show. Lotta previous acts were omitted we really loved so in 2017 5 huge stars - this year 4 . And seeing fabulous old style a Fox theater in Detroit a definitel bonus - we’ll still se it again next time and MORE PENGUINS next time please . 😃 ... Read more
